SOZI, an LA-born pop music artist, songstress, and producer, debuted her latest single, “Never Fade”, in Season 5 of Netflix’s hit reality show Love Is Blind. Her music mesmerizes with its fusion of Florence and the Machine’s explosive choruses, paired with Taylor Swift-like storytelling, and OneRepublic’s modern catchy hooks. Her single, “Drinking For Two,” electrifies with its high energy chorus and anthemic melody, followed by “Summer Views”, an exciting electropop track about the relatable urge to travel the world. A natural performer, SOZI grew up surrounded by music in a family that was always dancing, singing, and entertaining. She began classical training in piano at the age of seven and started songwriting at ten years old, a talent which she continued to cultivate as she matured and experienced the thrills and challenges of adolescent life. Throughout the past few years, SOZI has graced the stages of the Peppermint Club, Viper Room, Hotel Cafe, The Virgil, Madame Siam, Adults Only, Bar 20, The Study, Molly Malone’s, Howl at the Moon, State Social House, and The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles. SOZI also dived into the fashion world by performing at Style Fashion Week in Palm Springs and traveled out of state to perform Sofar Sounds Chicago, Summer SauceFest, during Austin’s SXSW 2023 The Meeting Web3 Event at Monk’s Jazz Club and in New York’s Rockwood Music Hall.
SOZI has trained vocally with Gary Catona (Whitney Houston, Rita Ora), Stevie Mackey (Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez), and Mama Jan Smith (Justin Bieber, Usher). Her main genre is Pop, Pop Blues, and Alternative, but she has written in a wide range of genres.
